To schedule a Korean Weapons seminar, to be taught by Grand Master Benko, at your school, be sure to first read the Seminar Requirements. When you are ready to host a seminar by Grand Master Benko, submit the Seminar Request Form.

Ji Pang E (Cane)

Korean Weapons Seminar:
(Includes Both Weapons)

Requirements: This seminar is open to all martial arts styles. All participants must wear a clean martial arts uniform.


Cane (Ji Pang E)
All participants must bring a wide-necked cane.

  • Cane Basics and Etiquette.
  • Cane Blocks and Strikes.
  • Defenses Against Unarmed Attacks.
  • Defenses Against Weapon Attacks.

    • Jung Bong (Middle Staff)

    Middle Staff (Jung Bong)
    All participants must bring a Jung Bong, 1 inch in diamiter and 48 inches in length. There will be some available for purchase at the seminar (cash only).

  • Jung Bong Basics and Etiquette.
  • Jung Bong Blocks and Strikes.
  • Defenses Against Unarmed Attacks.
  • Defenses Against Weapon Attacks.
