KMAI Instructor Opens New School

Johannesburg, MI - In a special ceremony held at the Korean
Martial Arts Institute on July 24, 2000, Mr. Morris Bryant
received his Instructorship from Grand Master James S.
Benko, President and founder of the ITA, and became a
certified Instructor in the International TaeKwon Do
Association. Mr. Bryant began is training at the KMAI in
February 1990, receiving his Black Belt on March 26, 1995.

Mr. Bryant retired in 1996 after 32 years of employment with General
Motors. He worked as a spray painter at the Pontiac Truck and Bus Division of
GM. Shortly after his retirement he moved to Johannesburg and
opened Bryants' Northwood's TaeKwon Do School in January 1997. Since that time
his school has grown steadily from the initial 3-4 students to his current
enrollment of 18 aspiring martial artists.
Alma, his wife of 37 years, assists him. When you see Mr. Bryant, be sure to congratulate him on his
contribution to the expansion of the Art of Tae Kwon Do.
