KMAI 2001 Kick-A-Thon
by Joan McDowell

The fourth KMAI Kick-a-thon was a record breaking event! Twenty five eager KMAI students assembled on February 24, 2001 to raise money for St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Kicks were performed in blocks of 50, 100, or 150 kicks. The participants ranged in rank from Wee TaeKwon Do students to 4th Dan with the types of kicks executed reflective of the kickers' ability. When the dust settled and the totals were tallied, the students and Instructors had raised a grand total of $4,686.50 for the children of St Jude!
