Se-Jong

Se-Jong is the first of two hyungs (patterns) required for advancement from 5th Degree Black Belt to 6th Degree Black Belt in the International TaeKwon-Do Association. You "Yell" (YAH) on the first and last movement of Se-Jong.

  Instructor: Who was Se-Jong?
  Student: The greatest King of Korea. He invented the Korean alphabet in 1443 A.D. The foot diagram represents "King". The 24 movements refer to the 24 letters in the Korean alphabet.
